It has been a successful year for the 15-year-old Swan Christian College student, who recently represented WA at the School Sport Australia championships in Darwin.
Nugent plays club football for the Ellenbrook Junior Football Club and is a member of the East Perth Football Development Team.
He was also recognised as the highest achieving player at Ellenbrook during the 2013 season.
