The club's League and Reserves teams have played in the same competition for the first time in recent years after joining the WA Amateur Football League.

The move has propelled the club from E grade to C4, with more than 80 players registered for the 2015 season.

Mr Santoro said the club had worked hard in the off-season and was beginning to benefit from the training.

"From myself as the president to the players, all are really motivated and enjoying the season so far," he said.

"The past two years we have made the preliminary finals and we are hoping this will continue this season."

Mr Santoro said the club had appointed Justin Burt as the new League coach. Mr Burt brings with him a wealth of football knowledge and experience.

Mr Santoro encouraged anyone interested in playing football to come along to training at Hillcrest Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5.45pm.
