EAST Perth District Basketball Association’s men’s team succumbed to a 92-69 defeat to the Geraldton Buccaneers in round 2 of the State Basketball League.
The Eagles could not score back-to-back wins on their road trip to Geraldton.
Despite the loss, coach Joe Tupaea said there were more positives than negatives.

“Dennis Tawhiti had a good game inside, despite fouling out,” he said.
“Kevin Davis had a good strong first game and Ngang Lual racked up some great stats in the last minutes of the fourth quarter.”
The Eagles are on the road again next weekend, with both the men’s and women’s teams playing the Bunbury Slammers in Eaton on Saturday, April 1.
They will return home to Morley on April 8.
