WACA Premier Cricket: Bayswater-Morley too good for Mt Lawley in eastern suburbs derby

Batting first, Mt Lawley could only manage 170, after being cleverly restricted by the Bears bowlers.

Spinner Liam O’Connor was all class with 3-28, while Luke Waterhouse also took three wickets in an exciting display.

Mt Lawley’s state batsman Michael Klinger could only manage 12 as he was bowled by Warriors teammate Nathan Rimmington.

Oliver Mouchemore top scored for the Hawks with 43, while fellow opener James Newnham who made 30 in a 74-run opening stand.
