WAFL: Subi hit by suspensions ahead of weekend clash with Perth

TWO Subiaco Lions players will spend one match on the sidelines after being suspended for intentional conduct against Swan Districts last week.

Lions midfielder Leigh Kitchin was reported for striking Swans youngster Jesse Turner in the second quarter.

Swan Districts found in its victim impact report that the incident was assessed as intentional conduct, low impact and body contact.

Two-time Subiaco premiership player and former Swan Districts midfielder Wayde Twomey was reported for rough conduct on Swans forward Ricky Cary in the third quarter.

Both Kitchin and Twomey received a one-match sanction with an early plea.

Subiaco faces Perth while Swan Districts will play East Perth, both this Saturday July 9.
