Warriors bowlers put Bayswater-Morley on top against Midland-Guildford

WESTERN Warriors Nathan Rimmington and Liam O’Connor have bowled Bayswater-Morley into a dominant position against Midland-Guildford.

The pair combined for seven vital scalps in Saturday’s round-six match in Premier Cricket at Lilac Hill.

O’Connor marked his return from a shin injury lay off with three wickets, before Rimmington took control taking 4-57 as he pushed his case for Sheffield Shield selection.

Luke Waterhouse also collected a wicket as Midland-Guildford were bowled out for 161.

In reply, the Bears finished the day 0-29, with Jake Lewis (13) and Tim Smithies (13) the not out batsman.

Bayswater-Morley are currently 10th on the ladder and will chase their third win of the season when play resumes on Saturday.
