Shane and Chris Artemis must first negotiate the traditional Australian pork division at this year’s Perth Royal Show on October 3. They will know by October 9 whether to book flights to Geelong.

Shane said the team at Lakes Designer Meats used to sell between 5 and 10kg of their meat treat each week, but after success at a local competition, sales had doubled.

‘We’ve been working on it for the last two years so we’ve finally got it nailed,’ he said.
