Tinder spruiks ‘Festival Mode’ for Falls

Staff WriterFremantle Gazette

TINDER’S Festival Mode is partnering with Falls Festival Fremantle, with the company saying it’s now even easier to find like-minded souls.

Festival Mode made its official Australian debut earlier this year at Splendour in the Grass, and most recently Festival X.

The in-app feature makes meeting people faster and people can connect and chat with fellow festival goers as they bond over the finest international and local acts.

“Festivals are a great place to make new mates,” Kristen Hardeman, manager of Tinder Australia, said.

“Music brings people together, so while you’ll arrive to a festival with your core group of friends, you often leave with a completely new crowd.

“By partnering with some of Australia’s biggest music festivals, Festival Mode gives you the opportunity to connect and start chatting before you even arrive.”

To use Tinder Festival Mode:

Get on Tinder and look for the Festival Mode card.

Match with it to add your festival badge to your profile and see who’s going where.

From there, you can check out everyone else going to that festival, so you can start matching and chatting with fellow festival-goers long before the first set.

You may even get access to exclusive VIP upgrades, merchandise and more.

By adding the Falls Festival Mode badge to your Tinder profile, users can connect with all the other people heading to the festival.
