THE Dreamer is an apt name for Louise Coghill’s latest collection of work.

The up-and-coming Perth photographer and artist will launch a collection of conceptual portraits during the exhibition, showcasing her otherworldly interpretation of WA’s landscapes.

Coghill said The Dreamer was the story of a woman who was trying to live with life’s difficulties, with the woman put in different landscapes that reflected her feelings and fears.

“I was determined to capture locations at their perfect time, engaging light and colour and then craft compositions using a model and digital collage,” she said.

“This series for me is about exposing rich, lush colours.”

The Dreamer is at the Kidogo Arthouse from March 24 to 30.
