PERTH residents will have their only chance to catch UK singer-songwriter Passenger this weekend at the Fremantle Arts Centre.

With his hit single Let Her Go reaching a staggering one billion YouTube views, Passenger has recently announced his eighth studio album entitled Young as the Morning, Old as the Sea.

For almost a decade this unique troubadour has been performing his much-loved one-man show across the globe, from busking on street corners to playing some of the most prestigious venues and theatres throughout the world.

This January and February sees him set out on a new adventure. For the first time in many years, Passenger will be backed by a live band.

The five-piece will be showcasing songs from the new record as well as breathing new life into the many Passenger cult classics.

The show takes place this Saturday, February 5. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster.
