SUPERMARKET giant Coles has just unveiled its biggest Christmas product range ever and if you’re looking to add something to your table that’s innovative, fun or makes the classics look plain boring, they’ve got you covered.

We’ve narrowed down their massive menu of 150 items to our top five festive choices.

Ham with crispy crackling
Roast pork with crackling and glazed ham are so last yuletide season. Coles’ range will include a traditional ham topped with crispy crackling and while we have absolutely no idea how you make ham crackling, they had us at crispy.

Sausage roll Christmas wreath
If you want a centrepiece for your Christmas table, consider the sausage roll Christmas wreath. Made of Aussie beef mince, ham, roast vegies, cranberries, fennel and puff pastry, it’s more posh than your average sausage roll. Roll on November 26, when this hit stores.

Prosecco-infused pate
This trending tipple will be infused in a chicken pate to make your summer entertaining extra merry. Why not pimp your pate this Christmas?

The chicken and prosecco pate is pictured with Coles’ Christmas platter (antipasto selections in a Christmas tree-shaped tray) and olives with snowballs and santa hats (a mix of Greek green olives, bell peppers and goat’s cheese).

Lime and chilli-infused prawns
These come courtesy of some inspiration by celebrity chef and Coles spokesman Curtis Stone, so you can tell your guests Curtis helped you plan your menu for the big day. All you or your guests will need to do is peel them when they become available two weeks before Christmas.

Sweet treats
We like the sound of a Christmas pudding-flavoured ice-cream and a toffee apple wreath pudding, but if you love Coles’ gingerbread ice-cream and butterscotch and gingerbread pudding, they’ll be making a comeback. Be sure to grab a Gerry the Gingerbread cookie, with 20 cents from each sale going to Redkite. A new range of Redkite Christmas products, including a Belgian choc pop, will also be launched.

Not surprisingly, Coles’ Christmas products won’t be available until later this year.

In the meantime, enjoy a fruit mince pie.
