FORTY years of amazing artwork will be celebrated with two of the biggest exhibitions to hit the Fremantle Arts Centre this year.

With the winner of the FAC Print Awards announced this week, all of this year’s entries will be on display for the art-loving public to enjoy in the official exhibition which opens on Friday.

In celebration of the award’s 40th anniversary, the centre will also run the exhibition Multiple Choices, a collection of every winning piece since the awards began in 1975.

Fremantle Arts Centre director Jim Cathcart said the award was the highlight of the centre’s calendar.

“Always thought provoking, it encourages artists to drive their practice forward, pushing their techniques and processes,” he said. Both exhibitions will be on display from September 25 to November 15.
