Meet the Maker runs food and beverage tastings that introduce the public to the people behind local food and beverage companies.

Owner Sophie Scott said Meet the Maker was starting off with a whisky master class and port appreciation tasting.

‘These events give guests the opportunity to meet the people behind the brands and to get the inside story on how they came to be,’ she said.

‘It also helps small regional companies market themselves and provides the opportunity to introduce their products to a new audience.

‘We hope that guests have a fun and memorable experience and come away with a greater appreciation of the amazing food and beverage companies sitting right on their doorstep.’
