OTHERSIDE Brewing Company is pulling its first pints brewed onsite at its Freo.Social location today.
The company’s Otherside Brewshed is a 500L nano-brewery, which is led by the company’s head brewer Rhy Lopez.
Only experimental brews will come out of the Fremantle location, with Jagged It, Coal Miner, Roggen Bier and Tribulation the first four beers.

A golden bell located in the Brewshed will ring each Friday at 4pm signifying the latest experimental brew is ready to be poured.
Lopez said the nano-brewery was somewhere they could experiment with forgotten, archaic beer styles, weird ingredients and techniques and everything in between.
“Otherside Brewshed is completely committed to experimentation,” he said.
“It’s somewhere we can get really playful and experiment with styles, flavours and methods and brew beers that have never, ever been brewed before – think spirulina IPA, crazy pastry stouts, cross category co-ferments like beer fermented with wine skins.”
