Salmon back to launch album

The WA Music Industry Association Hall of Fame inductee will be taking to the stage at Mojos Bar to celebrate the release of his new album My Script.

With a career spanning decades as part of popular groups the Scientists and the Beasts of Bourbon, Salmon’s reputation for being an enticing and energetic performer is well deserved.

Salmon said My Script was a predominantly autobiographical collection of 20 tracks that included full-band numbers, as well as stripped back tracks, that was nothing like his other releases.

“(Album producer) Myles Mumford took great care to make the best use of recording techniques for me to render the idea under his sympathetic direction. The results were surprisingly accessible,” he said.

Salmon will launch My Script at Mojos Bar on April 22 from 8pm.
