GET some tips and tricks on how to sing bluegrass, Spanish and gospel in a new workshop coming to Beaconsfield.

Born in Fremantle, Jessie Vintila has grown her career in New South Wales, directing the Raise the Roof Community Gospel Choirs and running workshops all around the country.

She returns to her hometown for a special one-day-only singing workshop at the Beacon Yoga Centre, bringing with her some of her favourite four part harmonies.

Vintila said she loved music and was addicted to harmony.

“I’m very lucky that I’ve made a career out of surrounding myself with people singing harmonies on a regular basis,” she said.

“We’ll come together for three hours of vocal bliss for the sheer joy of it. Anyone can immerse themselves and their voice in the beautiful, big, group sound.

“You’ll be uplifted, and you’ll connect with people in this very simple way.”

The workshop will be held at the Beacon Yoga Centre on October 18 from 2-5pm.

Tickets are $35 from www.singthecamino.com.
