A FILM festival for children returns to Fremantle after a sell-out season last year.

Little Big Shots will broadcast some of the best Australian and international short films for children, with a collection of animations, live action films and even films made by children.

Screens will be set up in the Fremantle Arts Centre’s inner courtyard so the youngest of local film enthusiasts can enjoy the spring weather.

Fremantle Arts Centre director Jim Cathcart said the festival was for children from two to 15. Each session runs for under an hour.

“This year’s festival promises to delight, inspire and enchant both kids and adults as we showcase the best short films from across 20 countries,” he said.

Little Big Shots festival is at the Fremantle Arts Centre from October 6 to 8, with sessions starting at 9am, 10am, 11am and noon.

Tickets are $12.50 per session.
