Now based in Melbourne, Love has self-produced her Tantric Shuffle EP, saying her quirky electro-pop sound was described by many as having a dreamy quality to it while still being danceable.

She said some had likened her sound to Kylie Minogue, while others had compared it to Depeche Mode.

“It’s always cool to hear other peoples’ take on my sound,” she said.

“My First Day LP was more brooding and dreamy but I think the new Tantric Shuffle EP is lighter, up-tempo and more fun.

“It’s great that the first show of my EP launch tour is in Fremantle because it’s my home town and I am hoping the event is filled with friends, family and maybe even some people I’m not forcing to come.”

Love has also brought together a group of independent female producers for the Fremantle show, including support acts Akioka and Willow.

Love performs at Mojos Bar on January 27.
