Woman charged after allegedly stealing $500,000 from employer over six years

A 46-year-old woman will face court today after she allegedly stole $500,000 from a Bibra Lake business.

Police allege the woman was employed as an account manager for the business from 2010 to 2017.

An audit identified in excess of 250 suspect transactions that are alleged to have occurred over six years, totalling $500,00.

Donna-lee McCole was charged with 16 counts of stealing as a servant and appeared in Fremantle Magistrates’ Court yesterday. Her case was remanded until March 23.
