Adeson at home on stage

The eight-year-old’s confidence and talent has not gone unnoticed after he was picked to play a role in the ongoing stage production South Pacific.

Set on a naval base during World War 11, the show follows the story of an American nurse, played by Lisa McCune, who falls in love with French plantation owner Emile.

Adeson plays Jerome, Emile’s young son. The roll requires both singing and speaking, but that was all part of the fun for the young performer who now counts McCune and Christine Anu as friends.

‘I have hardly done any acting but I’ve been dancing in dance concerts since I was three,’ he said.
