Regis Aged Care announced last week it had secured a 3800sq m site from Frasers Property Australia for the 153 single bedroom building.

Regis property general manager Michael Horwood said Regis Port Coogee would provide a top standard of care for Perth’s ageing population.

“Port Coogee offers such a unique location and environment,” he said.

“It affords our clients a luxury setting with exceptional views and experiences which support the premium quality of care they seek.”

Frasers WA general manager Tony Perrin said the transaction was a significant step for the Port Coogee project as a whole because it would provide a definitive retirement living element.

“With appealing bea-ches, a marina, restaurants, apartments, a shopping centre and the soon to be added Regis aged care complex, Port Coogee will offer residents the most unique and convenient lifestyle in Perth’s best mixed-use marina development,” he said.
