WOMEN will be the centre of attention next month at the Fremantle Women’s Health and Wellbeing Day.

After six successful years, the event celebrating women’s health with a range of free activities including Zumba, yoga, pilates, circus skills and dancing will move to the bigger Fremantle Town Hall.

Fremantle Women’s Health Centre health promotion officer Carine Rowlands said there would also be more than 30 health and community stalls.

“Each year there are over 100 women who attend and each year the event has grown with more stalls and activities to come and try,” she said.

“It’s a hands-on expo where you can find out information about health and community services and chat to women experienced in Women’s Health.

“Fremantle Women’s Health and Wellbeing Day is about putting ourselves first, getting talking about women’s health and starting to make positive changes and by investing time for ourselves we are better able to look after others.

“It’s about connecting women to themselves and to services in their local community.”

The Fremantle Women’s Health and Wellbeing Day is on October 10 at the Fremantle Town Hall.
