Anthony Gangemi will take part in the disability service provider’s annual fundraiser walk, Walk With Me, with an eye on raising $5000 for people living with disability.

The walk will take place on August 31 and includes a 2.5km stroll along the Swan River foreshore in Mosman Park.

Mum Nicole said the pair take part each year to give back to a service that has helped them in the past.

She said one of Anthony’s greatest achievements was learning how to ride a bike after taking part in a program run by Rocky Bay.

‘Anthony himself decided to get onboard the charity walk because he wanted more people to learn how to ride a bike,’ she said.

‘This is how we got started and now participate every year to raise awareness of all the different aspects of Rocky Bay and how they assist people with disability to live in society as independently as possible.

‘Bringing awareness to people and enjoying an event that is so inclusive makes it such a wonderful event to share with family and friends.’
