ARMY Art is artwork intended to make a difference.
The exhibition, which has been raising money for different charities for the past 45 years, is on again, this year supporting Tiny Sparks WA and Working Spirit.
North Fremantle resident and artist Francesca Gnagnarella said it was her first time exhibiting for Army Art as she was thrilled by the choice of charity.

READ NOW“I am personally touched by Tiny Sparks as the founder of the charity is a family member,” she said.
“I visited the exhibition last year, and I have loved being involved for such a great cause.”
The theme of the exhibition is ‘transitioning’, as both charities help families and individuals transition into a new life.
Mrs Gnagnarella said the theme inspired her.
“It resonated with me as I transitioned from being an Italian artist, moving to WA and starting to develop my current style,” she said.
“I hope to evoke a sense of place and for people to be inspired when they look at my artwork.”
Committee member Joanne George said she began painting when her kids moved out of home.
“I exhibited with Army Art a couple of years ago but now I am involved in the committee,” she said.
“We are aiming to have 400 to 500 pieces of artwork to raise as much as possible for the charities.
“We just want to put the word out.”
