The Bark Europa, Oosterschelde and Tecla docked at Victoria Quay on Thursday afternoon after sailing from Mauritius.

The three ships and British tall ship Lord Nelson were welcomed with a festival at Victoria Quay over the weekend.

Despite the weather on Saturday, a number of brave people took to the port to have a look at the rare sight.

Everyone took advantage of the better weather on Sunday, with hundreds of people cramming the port, lining up to get a feel of what it is like on board the ships, with children poking their heads through portholes and turning the ship’s wheel, as well as more than a few tributes to the Titanic’s famous bow scene.
