Bryce LuffFremantle Gazette

A GROUP of the area’s brightest local kids are heading to the Gold Coast to take part in the Australasian Pacific finals of the Tournament of Minds (TOM).

TOM is a problem solving competition involving primary and secondary school students.

The team of seven from Aubin Grove will represent WA against teams from other states, as well as New Zealand and Thailand.

They qualified for Saturday’s competition after taking out the language literature category for primary school kids at the state finals.
