THE final weekend of disruptions to accommodate work on the new Aubin Grove train station will start on Saturday night.

Major work has meant detours on the Kwinana Freeway and bus transfers for people using the Mandurah rail line for the last two weekends.

The second weekend of delays was needed so beams on the Russell Road bridge and pedestrian crossing could be installed.

The final disruption period is needed to crane the last station and footbridge modules into place.

Kwinana Freeway’s northbound traffic will be diverted over the freeway using the Russell Road off and on ramps.

Services on the Mandurah line will be disrupted from the last service on Saturday until the first service on Monday.

Replacement bus services will run between Cockburn and Rockingham.

Trains will run as usual between Rockingham and Mandurah.
