Aubin Grove train station: first infrastructure lift a success, but more disruptions ahead

THE Aubin Grove station took a massive step forward over the weekend.

Cranes placed on the Kwinana Freeway’s northbound lanes lifted pre-built modules for the new station and beam spans for the Russell Road Bridge and the pedestrian footbridge into place.

While work on the station was pushed along, it meant delays to Kwinana Freeway motorists and Mandurah rail line commuters.
