Austal chips in to help Anglicare WA

Last week Austal donated $100,000 to Anglicare WA’s Young Hearts program, which offers counselling to 3000 children each year who have experienced family and domestic violence.

Anglicare WA chief executive Ian Carter said the donation would allow the service to address the immediate needs of children and prevent future issues.

Austal chief executive Andrew Bellamy said the Henderson shipbuilder was pleased to continue supporting a vital service.

In August, the State Government donated $16,500 to Anglicare’s Winter Appeal, which raised more than $393,000.
