Port Kennedy’s Kelly Devlin (14) was accepted into the school’s invitee program.

She will travel to Melbourne throughout the year to train with the Australian Ballet School’s full-time students.

Both girls have been honing their skills at the Katharine Mantle Performing Arts Academy.

Principal Katharine Mantle said both girls were hardworking students who were passionate about their craft.

“It is one of the most rewarding parts of my job to see the students’ dreams and goals become a reality,” she said.

“Especially when you train them from a young age – to see the progression and development in the students is fantastic.”
