Banjup Residents’ Group turns five

Bryce LuffFremantle Gazette

THE Banjup Residents’ Group has turned five.

The group has provided a loud voice for those in the eastern suburb of Cockburn, particularly of late.

It worked with the local council to reclassify Liddelow Road as a local distributor to discourage heavy trucks and pushed for a new suburb to be renamed Treeby after pioneers of the Banjup area.
