Big changes coming for local mall

Motorists would have noticed a fresh new exterior to the North Lake Road hub, while regular shoppers will have passed through the new food court.

German discount chain Aldi is set to open mid-year and Coles is also set to come in for some work too.

“A lot of effort has gone into enhancing the look and feel of the shopping centre,” Mr Magro said.

With Cockburn Gateway just four kilometres to the centre’s south-east, and Phoenix Shopping Centre to the west, competition is high.

While the new works will help the store keep up with other centres, Mr Magro said it would also help set it apart.

He said with parking bays close to store entrances, easy access to North Lake Road, a new food court, grocery shopping options and a range of discount and specialty stores, there was plenty for shoppers.
