Two Bollywood dancing troupes and Fremantle musicians Dilip n the Davs and the Last Five Coins will entertain the crowd while raffles and auctions will be held to help raise funds for the Rural Agency for Social and Technological Advancement.

RASTA is a not-for-profit organisation in India that works towards empowering disadvantaged women and marginalised farmers, as well as preserving South India’s natural environment.

Organiser Cate Williams said she and fellow organiser Ian Butler had volunteered with the organisation last year and were so impressed with the work they did, they wanted to help them out in another way.“Funding to many non-government organisations dried up with the global financial crisis and RASTA is no exception,” she said.
