Pride and bragging rights are on the line as members of the South Metropolitan Police District, including Fremantle Police Station, compete in the ninth annual Con Regan Memorial Football Game against the WAPOL All Stars.

The match is held in memory of former police officer and 261-game East Fremantle player Con Regan, who died while on holiday in 2007, and also acts as a fundraiser for WA Police Legacy.

More than $9000 was raised at last year’s event, bringing the total donated to over $40,000.
