Cancer care helped

Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

The Cancer Council’s Life Now Program will kick off again in February with free yoga, exercise and mindfulness programs designed specifically to improve the lives of people living with cancer.

The six-week yoga classes in North Coogee looks to help participants through stretches that help with fitness, flexibility and overall wellbeing, while the 12-week exercise program in Hilton will use an accredited physiologist for people undergoing or recently finished cancer treatment.

There will also be an eight-week mindfulness program in East Fremantle to help participants work through the stresses that come with a cancer diagnosis.
