The City held a number of free events, including hip-hop classes, a fun bus and bouncy castle, and culture workshops.
Celebrations started on Monday with a barbecue, a music video featuring Aboriginal students from Winterfold Primary School and South Fremantle Senior High, and a hip-hop workshop.
Over following days were cross-cultural workshops, children's entertainment, and an exhibition by Leonard Thorn, who shared aspects of bush tucker and medicine and traditional Nyoongar culture.
