Characters making waves in cash splash

The characters were there as part of the R Marine Variety Splash, in which they will sail from Fremantle Harbour to Geographe Bay.

Variety WA chief executive Michael Pailthorpe said boat owners decked themselves and their boats out in their chosen themes to raise money for sick children.

‘The splash is such a great event, which has proven to be a wonderful fundraiser for Variety and WA children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs,’ he said. ‘We are indebted to R Marine Perth and all participants for their loyalty, and support and look forward to another fun filled five days.’
