Artwork created by children attending the centre went up for sale, helping to raise more than $1000 for several children’s charities, including the Cancer Council of WA and the Leukaemia Foundation.
Owner and operator Karen Stackpole said the event was about giving back to the community that had helped her for two decades.
‘We’ve been part of the Cockburn community for over 20 years,’ she said.
‘Hundreds of local children have attended Kid’s Corner and they’ve all been special to us in different ways.
‘We held this community event to celebrate the inclusion of all children and families in our community.’
