CELEBRITY chef Manu Feildel knows where the best culinary experience in WA can be found.

Ahead of his stopover in Perth for the Good Food and Wine Show (GFWS) next Friday, Feildel singled out Fremantle as his favourite place to visit in WA, saying “it has a great choice of new restaurants”.

He labelled Perth’s Long Chim as his favourite WA restaurant, saying the flavours and spiciness of the food was something he particularly loved and he even has next week’s derby allegiances sorted, going for the Fremantle Dockers over the West Coast Eagles.

With good memories of past events, Feildel said he could not wait for this year’s Good Food and Wine Show to kick off.

“I’ve had many fun, interesting times in WA, mostly involving the GFWS,” he said.

“I have fun with all the other chefs, we don’t all get together that often so it’s always fun to see everyone and catch up.”

The Perth Good Food and Wine Show is on July 14 to 16 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
