Children egged on to learn about Easter

Staff ReporterFremantle Gazette

Young attendees of Smileys Childcare Centre in White Gum Valley have been immersed in a number of Easter activities, including learning about the endangered bilby, the life cycles of animals that lay eggs, easter-themed art and craft, and an egg hunt.

Smileys kindergarten teacher Maria Dose said holidays such as Easter were a great way to tie in learning while following the holiday’s themes.

‘The children are really keen to participate in all discussions and art activities, as well as sharing their thoughts about Easter family activities,’ she said.
