IT might have a different name and a different look, but the man behind North Fremantle’s newest culinary offering says he believes the venue will become a favourite destination for locals this summer.
Opening this month, Coast is the new offering on the beachside site of the now demolished Salt on the Beach, and owner Ian Hutchinson said the combination of amazing location and great food had the draw to make it a popular go-to combination among locals and visitors.
“The location at Port Beach is unlike anything else in Perth, the views are just incredible and it’s so close to the water,” he said.
“Our vision was to create a place that everyone and anyone could feel welcome, like your own personal holiday house.

While the finishing touches are still going in, Mr Hutchinson expects the venue to open its doors later this month, just in time for summer.
