The City of Fremantle was amongst the first to catch the finals fever, wasting no time in putting a purple coat of paint along the centre of the Cappuccino Strip last Monday.

Freo fans can win a number of prizes by taking a ‘Go Freo selfie’ in Fremantle and using the hashtag #fremantlestory when posting it on social media.

Local businesses are also being urged to get involved, with $1000 on offer for the best shop window decoration.

Fremantle Chamber of Commerce chief executive Tim Milsom said about 50 businesses were involved in the competition last year.

‘By decking out businesses in purple we are showing the boys that we support their endeavours.’ Visit www.fremantlestory.com.au for more information.
