Concert continues an endless summer

Manning Park will host the event which follows the City’s Pinked concert in Atwell last month.

That concert drew some 2000 people.

That figure is expected to be matched if not bettered this weekend, considering the reputation the band has built over nearly two decades.

The event will also double as the final for Cockburn Idol, which will feature Spearwood six-year-old Mia Jelas.

The pocket rocket performer impressed during the heats when she sang Let it Go, made popular by the film Frozen.

Amazingly it was her first ever time participating at a singing competition.

Mum Julie said Mia was a born performer.

‘Every Friday she says ‘So is the competition tomorrow?’,’ she said.

‘She is hanging to perform.’

The concert is from 6pm to 10pm.
