The 11-year-old, who featured in Community Newspaper Group editions on January 5, has systemic lymphangiectasia.

The condition causes protein in his immune system to leak into his body tissue, which leads to severe swelling.

Uncertain about what the future holds, Conor’s family came up with a list of 10 experiences they want to tick off together.

Last week they drew a line through item three, a tour of Fremantle Prison.

His mum Sam Brown said the family was given a personal tour of the heritage site.

“Conor had a great time,” she said.

“We had a private tour of Fremantle Prison with our tour guide Ryan, who was outstanding and told us some amazing stories of the inmates.

“Like a lot of young boys, Conor was really interested in all the gruesome stuff.”

Conor will hopefully be able to complete more activties on his list over the coming weeks.
