FIGHT animal cruelty and promote sustainable living at the Perth Cruelty Free Fair at Pioneer Park next month.

Animal Liberation WA is holding the free event to help promote veganism and a cruelty-free lifestyle, with vegan food stalls, animal rights information stalls, cooking demonstrations, live entertainment and children’s activities on offer to ensure the whole family enjoys the day.

Animal Liberation WA treasurer Julie Smith said it was important to promote the cause.

“We believe all animals are deserving of protection from cruelty and one of the single greatest impacts a person can have in reducing animal suffering is to switch to a plant based diet,” she said.

“We have a great selection of cruelty free food stalls from a vegan sausage sizzle and bake sale to bagels and Indian food, and the fair will also showcase some wonderful animal rescue groups and fantastic ethical retailers.

“We want to show the community that when you make a stand for animals, you don’t need to miss out on any of the things you love.

“Our hope is for the community to see just how easy it is to have a huge impact on the reduction of animal cruelty simply by eliminating animals and their by-products from daily life.”

The Perth Cruelty Free Fair is at Pioneer Park on November 15 from 10am to 4pm.
