A regular in events like Ironman WA and the Rottnest Solo Swims, the idea of riding from Albany to Perth peaked his interest.

Murray said he was happy he was able to do what he loved and help raise money and awareness for youth suicide and depression.

‘I saw a greater challenge in the fundraising which is what really got me excited,’ he said.

‘I wanted to get involved with a charity and I saw Youth Focus as a vital organisation for young West Australians.
