After losing his cousin Tim to acute myeloid leukaemia in January, Mr Williams will combine his love of cycling with his passion for music to fundraise for others living with cancer.
Next month, he will join his band Random Axe at the Railway Hotel as he and his cycling group aim to raise $60,000 for the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
Mr Williams said it would be the third year he took part in the event, having raised more than $100,000 in the first two.

READ NOW"It's for Tim and the thousands like him that fight battles with cancer every day, that is why I ride," he said.
"At the start of the ride there are people telling their stories of survival. It's extremely moving and motivating and everyone is so pumped to be involved.
"Having people waving and cheering along the way is really special, you get a feel of how much cancer affects so many people and you have an enormous sense of achievement at the end."
Random Axe will perform Rock for Cancer on August 29 at the Railway Hotel.
