DHA project approved for Fremantle

Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

Earlier this month, the South-West Metro Development Assessment Panel approved a proposal to build 166 new apartments and a commercial space on a 4754sq m Queen Victoria Street site.

DHA acting managing director Jan Mason said when finished, the project would be home to around 300 people, including defence members and will have a big courtyard and room for at least five commercial operations.

“This is a great project that will deliver tangible benefits to existing and future Fremantle residents,” she said.

“We’re eager to deliver this project in a timely manner so that we can ensure there is an adequate supply of high quality homes available for our defence members.
