Growing Towards Wellness has been recognised for its specialised programs aimed at supporting people with a disability by connecting them to mainstream community life in Fremantle.

General manager Cathy Mills said the organisation did a lot of work in the Fremantle community.

‘We bring horticultural therapy and training at the Alma Street centre and our Fremantle non-accredited training project is giving horticultural training to members of the community living with mental illness,’ she said.

‘We are also providing nationally recognised accredited training in warehousing operations, horticulture and conservation and land management certificates.
