The Town will now have access to the City of Fremantle Waste Facility.

Several elected member workshops were held and no ratepayer submissions were made about the proposed differential general rates and minimum payments.

East Fremantle mayor Jim O’Neill said the rate increase was modest.

“The cost for street lighting has increased significantly as well as rubbish and recycling costs,” he said.

“This budget is a responsible budget to ensure good services and physical amenities.

“Modest increases to provides the best services.”
